Is this a good offer, they are making out that the wine is worth £83.

If it's part of their "winebank" offer be aware this ties you into paying them £20 a month to a wine account.

If you know that already then apologies.

I dont think it has anything to do with the wine bank.
Famous last words.

I bought a case yesterday using a 20 quid voucher I got from Robert Dyas (Code ROBERTDYAS - password CHAMPAGNE ) it credits your account immediately and they've got Dom Perignon on offer at 76 a bottle (Its 135 for one bottle in Majestic)
So... 56 quid for a bottle of Dom and 11 other bottles, delivered... Good deal I reckon

Just checked and they've only 5 bottles left in stock..

Just bought three cases - one red, one white and the mixed case. £120 for the lot. Bargain. I wanted it for weeknight, everyday drinking. I am hoping that they will do a better job of lower priced wines than the supermarkets manage. If so - I'll be ordering again!

Wife's birthday tonight so we'll have something more special but tomorrow night's pizza will be washed down with Chateau Virgin. We'll see what they can do...

Cheers!

Be wary of a follow up email saying 'Sorry, you overpaid by £blah….. Say yes and we'll sort it out for you' as it signs you up to their wine bank and commits you to £20 per month.

Will do. I specifically avoided any signing up for such a thing and will continue to do so. I'll post here if I get any trouble with that. I certainly didn't have to sign up for anything when I ordered the three cases. I DID need to "join" the "site" - as you do - but that doesn't make you a winebank member automatically or anything...

I cashed in one of their £40 vouchers last year and bought their 'dead posh' mixed case, I had to sign up for Wine Bank and fully intended to cancel as soon as my wine was delivered.

However the wine was actually quite good, and £20 a month going away (with them adding £20 every 3 months) means I can afford another 'dead posh' case at about the time I finish the last one so I'm still signed up.

I don't use them for anything else, I still get the high end stuff locally from wine merchants or my local restaurant who import a lot of wine, but for decent 'dinner party' wine they're pretty good I find.

Just bought a case of mixed boutique wine.
Used the £20 voucher Krusty posted.
Thanks again Krusty.
I have had Virgin wine before and it is good stuff. I think!
But i also have a virgin credit card and they are as fly as a jailer.
No wonder Branson is loaded he has employed the sharpest feckers in the UK and i will be watching virgin wine closely for sneeky moves.

I did the same, replied to the email without reading it all. Just reply again saying no and they cancel and refund immediately. They are cheeky feckers spamming like that.
My wine order arrived within a couple of days though.
