route the new belt around the various pulleys, until the last bit is by the tensioner.
the tensioner is spring loaded and sets the tension automatically
the adjustor has a 3/8 square hole in it, put a ratchet or strong arm in here and pull the adjust round against its spring and slip the belt over. release the tensioner.
start engine and make sure belt runs true
