Not quite, S&N's main real ale brand is John Smith's cask. It also brews Theakston's Best Bitter on behalf of T&R Theakston, and owns 30% of Scottish brewery Caledonian's brands.

Not sure about John Smiths real ale credentials but I do like Caledonian beers. The IPA is one of my favorite drinks of all time

Was always fairly rare (but good), had some in a pub in Alton once - the only time I've ever seen it.

ohh well kept Caledonian Deuchars off the Cask is one of the best IPA style Ales there is no question
