mini history

I recently bought a mini from ebay and i'd like to find out more about the car. I know its a mini flame that was sent to cooper direct from the factory. I have the original log book even the receipt from the orginal sale. I'd like to know how many were converted and info long those lines any help or pointers would be a great help as i don't really know where to start.
