A quick scan through the Noble forums and there doesn't seem to be anything about the update from Roisson:

Its nearing production apparently. And they've mucked about with the styling and interior...

Hahaha. The "its not a noble, its a roisson" argument was fun! Personnally, I think this venture is going to fail as the US is not a good sales base for this kind of car.fatbutt said:

Am I the only person who actually think that the noble looks better inside and out compared with the Rossion ? I dont really like the look of the Rossion that much especially when it doesnt have a rear wing fitted ..... I'd prefer a new , upgraded M400 if it was being manufactured , TBH ,

Agreed the car looks un-finished without the wing but it is essentially an up-graded M400with arguably better aerodynamics and by the sound of it a better engine management set-up.
It won't be too long before someone starts grey importing RHD cars via Europe.
A nice bonus for current M12 owners is that there is now a new point of sale for most chassis components albeit across the pond.

Agreed about the parts supply , but the interior looks a bit too much like a ford Mondeo or something bland whereas when you are in a Noble you feel like your are in a Le Mans car or a sports Gt racer . I dont really know how much time either the Noble of the Rossion spent in a wind tunnel but the Rossion looks like they just cosmetically hacked it around ( I am prepared to be corrected about windtunnel work etc ) but if the rossion has had extensive work in a wind tunnel I cant see how it can be properly balanced both with or without a wing that size ? .....once again , it's only my opinion , not having a go at Rossion or anyone who likes it , just interested what the balance of forum members is about the two Marques .

The rear wing is largely cosmetic and has little effect at anything like normal road speed anyway.F.C.

...whats the fastest that anyones had out of a Noble ? ...was it stable ? ...I'll start with a pathetic 140 mph ...Edited by nigelw on Tuesday 12th February 10:18
At 180mph the car moves around a bit, but some of that is the surface at Bruntingthorpe. fine under braking at that speed. You can still just stand on them with no problems. The wind noise is epic!
Hmmm .probably a winner first go (unless some of our American brethren will have gone quicker , when they wake up in a few hours ) ....gotta slightly disagree about rear wing downforce , it is an aerofoil section and , if you drag something THAT big through the air (with adjustable angle) its GOTTA have a fairly substantial effect ....I know what a small change of angle on the wings of single seaters can do ...I agree that at slow road speeds it probably doesnt have much effect though

Maybe but remember there's already a large wing at the rear. BTW, the factory always said the wing does nothing under c. 120mph and is most useful on track in bends!

Unfortunately the roof line of the car efficiently negates all but the very ends of the wing from the airflow.

Others have established this to be the case and is also partly to blame for the lack of air supply to the intercooler.
F.C.
Its all about angle of attack I would guess . It's true that the ends of the wing in clear air will exert more downforce , and , I would imagine that the roof does , "mask" airflow to the intercooler and , to a lesser degree, the centre of the rear wing . The centre section will see a steeper angle of attack from the airflow as it spills off the roof and this is why a lot of sports / Gt racers have "twisted" rear wings in the centre section , to address this difference in angle of approach of the airflow ....in other words I agree with you !
