Hi all

Hope you can help with some info relating to thread sizes for adaptors?

I have just ordered a dual oil temperature and pressure gauge from SPA to fit to my 3R, the model is DG201 and comes complete with temperature and pressure transducers. I have spoken to SPA and they will provide the unit with a 12 foot loom for easier fitting to the Noble.

The only challenge seems to be getting the correct thread type and size adaptors to fit the sensors to the track sump and engine block. I have spoken to Merlin Motorsport who are willing to machine adaptors as required, they just need the thread details on the Noble end.

The SPA temperature sensor comes with a 1/8 NPT thread and needs to be fitted to the track sump, in the US build manual the plug that is to be removed to fit the sensor is shown as 3/8 NPT, is this the same on the UK model or is there a metric equivalent?

The pressure sensor has a 1/8 BSP thread and is to be fitted to the right front corner of the engine block near the timing cover. The socket has an allen plug blanking plug fitted but I don't know the size or thread?

Any help would be appreciated as it should be a relatively easy install once the adaptors are sorted.

Thanks

Eddie
