Buying Wii games from Renchi.com???

Anyone know if the US games listed on www.renchi.com will work on by UK sourced Wii or are they region locked?

They're LOADS cheaper on there!!

They're region locked I'm afraid. You could get it chipped but it will void your warranty.

Without linking to outside sources or anything anyone know what the story is with unlocking your Wii.

What happens when you connect to the internet with it, does it (or would it ever) detect you're a bit naughty and brick the thing, or is it OK?

I don't think Nintendo are quite as strict about it as Microsoft, remains to be seen what will be done once the online scene on the Wii really takes off as there's currently only one game you can play online.

Search for Wii chipping for more info, but I think even once chipped you'll only have partial success with playing games from another region.
