'Gamma' radio - quick question (iPod connection help)
Discussion
Hi,
I've got an iPod connector that I'm putting into my 2004 Passat. The car has the Gamma radio/cassette with separate single DIN single CD player mounted directly below. The CD changer socket that the iPod connector goes into is on the back of the CD player - the question is... if I disconnect the power connector to the CD player will I need the code to start the whole thing up again? The iPod connector itself doesn't need power but I want to take a tap off of the CD player power for a charging cradle (my connector is a basic one that doesn't take a power line from the CD changer connection). Obviously I've temporarily mislaid my radio code (it'll be with the service history that I probably also ought to try and locate!).
Thanks!
