A4 Cab - Things to look for...
Discussion
Hi,
I'm off to look at a couple of A4 cabs this week and was hoping to get some pointers on what I should be aware of when checking them out..
Specifically I'm looking at 3.0 Sport 2002-2004 models... as I've been warned off the 2.4's.
Does having no quattro affect resale in anyone's opinion?
Would be very interested to hear any advice when buying one of these cars...
Thanks!

Hello DM,
I can't think of anything specific to look out for, just do the usual buying checks which I'm sure you're aware of. We purchased a 1.8T Sport in '03 and are very pleased with it. It's not done many miles and other than usual servicing I've replaced the battery and front tyres. At the time I didn't think the performance was significantly different to go for one of the larger engined models (esp the 2.4). It suits us. Sport versions with leather would be more attractive to me as a buyer, the quattro not so much (on this car anyway). Have you considered the S4? Whatever you go for you should be able to get a good deal this time of year.
