Forget the nampy pamby FOS and come and see real motor sport at Goodwood!

The 520 and several other TVRs will be at Goodwood on Saturday trying to brake a 100 mph average for a lap from a standing start. In our dreams maybe but some of the single seaters may well do it!

Entrance is free. Practice starts around 9 with timed runs around 11 ish.

You'll need good brakes then...

Get a grip. You can get married anytime. We only get permission to play at Goodwood a few days a year.

shpub - My future wife was very impressed by your car when I showed it to her at the last Goodwood sprints. I will tell her what you said and see how her opinion changes

Providing you have a competition licence, approved helmet and overalls, are a member of an appropriate Motor club like the TVRCC and a registered in one of the many championships, the answer is yes. However the the event is already full so I doubt you would get in.

If you have never sprinted before, Goodwood is not the place to start as it is a very unforgiving circuit.

If you wnat to come and play, my website has a load of info.

Another super if rather wet day out, plenty of "moments" ment lots of entertainment for us "punters". Steve H your decision to stay on slicks for the first afternoon sessions looked like it was going to pay off until the chicane!! the words "Torville+Dean" sprang to mind The big Wedge did the same piroiot moments before! Thanks for the entertaiment guys Tony

Brilliant entertainment from the two wedges

First time I've been to Goodwood (despite living nearby for my whole life...), and first time I've seen the 520 in the flesh.

Excellent day out, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rich.

Thanks guys. Glad you appreciated it. The slicks were fun I have to say and it was a gamble that nearly came off. Robin Harris in his Griff 500 made the most of the light drizzle when he went out and got Fastest time of the day. My second run on wets was the fastest second run and going flat through Fordwater in the wet will be an experience I will never forget. Who said TVRs were twitchy in the wet

The next Goodwood is 16th August.
The next 520 outing is 2nd August at Lydden.
