Just me, driving Jane's car.

I've had to borrow it as the Punto's blown it's head gasket.

I thought it was you mate, but it was very dark!
The VX definitely made a change to all the other shiteboxes in the traffic jam!

I always miss the VX m8. Megane is great though. Should have another VX later this year if all goes to plan. Another NA I hope but red this time biggrin

For sure m8. It was nice to have such a good condition car but lesson learned, gonna spent no more than about 8k so wont be too worried about specs of muck under the wheel arches biggrin

VX's are so easy to chip, sratch, etc that it's almost impossible to keep them perfect if you use them how they are designed to be used.

There's also been a few interesting developments in NA tuning since you left, maybe worth getting you name on the American 2.4 inlet manifold group buy on http://www.z22se.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7832 as it may be the last one, 13bhp for £125 delivered.

My personal opinion is that a long throw std bottom end running to a 7400 rpm red line is a thrown rod waiting to happen. Dude blew his strengthened bottom end at that type of speed. Also up to 6800 rpm it's got no better performance than on with the 2.4 Inlet Manifold.
