Looks too big, but big is good.
Cleveland, Ohio (January 2008) Mallory Ignition announces the availability of the new Max-Fire Distributor, an all electronic advance distributor with a built-in multi-strike capacitive discharge ignition.
Built with a CNC-machined all billet housing, Mallory Max-Fire Distributors feature a microprocessor-controlled multi spark digital CD ignition, and all electronic RPM based and vacuum based advance curves. You can select from seven pre-programmed performance advance curves or design your own custom curve. They have a digital boost proportional retard for supercharged or turbocharged engines with up to 30 PSI of boost, and provide on-board digital rev-limiting. Max- Fire also features Hall effect triggering and a ball bearing supported shaft for maximum timing accuracy.
This distributor comes complete with Windows-based software and a computer harness for easy adjustability, and it works with any PC (laptop not required). Look for additional models available in Spring of 2008!

Well, I'm just a lurker here and have never owned an Ultima but I read how you guys are playing with BHP in the stratosphere what with 1000hp here and 1500bhp Nelson engines there
I thought a nice laptop programmable dizzy would give you one more piece of kit to play with.
I think out of all the PH forums you guys will be the first to break the 1000hp shopping car limit.
Can you carry any shopping in an Ultima?
