I am just about to give the go ahead to the builders to refurbish my office reception area and interview rooms.

When complete (hopefully 4 weeks) the rooms will be very plain, the interest will be created (i hope) from large bits of wall art - thinking 6ft ones !! Certainly large scale stuff !!

My problem is - not sure what to put on walls !!

Should I go
- Photos enlarged onto canvas(or something else)
- Paintings - but when do you get big ones

I wondered if anyone here could help with images / ideas may result in me buying some work.

The business is a Solicitors office, based in a georgian building, but interior will be a bit more modern (plain etc) colour to be used are off whites for walls etc, light wood floors - Our logo is royal blue and gold, so would like those clours to feature if possible.

Any ideas pointer etc would be most welcome

Thanks

You might like Rob Ford's work: see www.chelmerfineart.com/showArtistWork.asp?a=6007

He's local to me and would probably paint one specially for you, subject to budget. His red sunsets are very striking - can put you in touch if you like.

Check out

www.nikonart.net

who do huge wall art specifically for those large blank walls.

Very contemporary and graphic images of classic sports cars / race cars / cockpit interiors photographed in an unusual way.

Worth looking at.

So...idea take some very average images, hit a couple of filters in Photoshop, print them big and you've got a buisness.

If you can sell any. Actually I'm surprised Nikon haven't been on to him for passing off or some such.

Apologies - my canvas printing site should be www.fluid-images.co.uk, my images site is www.fluidimages.co.uk . The links work for me, but my email is tim@fluidimages.co.uk
