Anyway going?
Can anyone recommend places to stay?
From what I have gathered I can't see any camping facilities for this venue - any ideas?

I am going, getting free tickets from SEAT, cheers SEAT! But have never been to rockingham and dont know what to expect, but it does produce excellent racing, If anyone saw the BTCC form there a few weeks ago they will tell you that! It was the Best race of ANY form i had ever seen, truely amaazing, swaping places between reid/thompson/muller and hughes constantly!

Hope to see you all there anyway, btw any news on it the CMS Girl-power Viper will be there?

Corby is the nearest town. Rockingham is a great facility and deserves to do well.

Just spotted on Rockingham's website that camping is available, I have emailed them for more info and will post if anyone fancies it.

if you`ve not been to rockingham before you`re in for a real treat. the view from the main grandstand is AWESOME-----the whole track, you won`t know where to look once the racing starts.Even the uncovered stands round turns 1 and 4 offer unrestricted viewing, or how about watching it from on top of the pits. this is how racing should be viewed, if it`s anything like most of the other events i`ve been to there (ASCAR`s etc) there is a free pits walkabout before the racing starts.----you won`t be dissapointed.---martin

See you all there.
Sounds good.

Im gonna try and find a place to stay when I get there.
Driving up from Portsmouth area.
Anyone know of a good but not expensive place for a on night stop on route? Near to Rockingham preferred.

(Taking missus so brothols and benches are not acceptable. She is far too fussy!)

When we went to see Ascar's we stayed here a bit more expensive than a travel lodge at £75 a room but if you get there early enough you can use the gym/pool/etc, just book it via the link as it's a lot cheaper than booking direct with the Hilton

I'll be there on the Sunday, not been to "The Rock" for ages. GT race should be a good one and a mate is Racing in the Seat Championship as well.

Just phoned them up (0870 0001769)the tickets will be posted 7 days before the event, since that was a Sun (i.e. yesterday) the tickets will be posted today. If you don't have them by Wed phone them up and arrange collection at Rockingham. Hope this helps !!
