I was wondering how neutral the Ultimas are when going through the twisty bits, I used to have an Esprit turbo that when once you committed to a line if you dared to lift off the throttle in mid bend for any reason then it was instant centrifuge time, is the Ultima 'twitchy' to drive ?, or is it 'chuckable'

Go for a drive to make your own mind up, people will have as many different views as there are corners, personally I think it's extremely chuckable and forgiving, but the harder you go into the corner, and the more committed you are, the less room for error there is. Loads more leeway on the road cos you aren't anywhere near the limits of the car.

Got it wrong big time on track twice so far. Both times on the first corner of Snetterton and Silverstone. Too fast in too late on the brakes and watched the apex drift past the RH A-pillar. Both times the cars slewed sideways and I sat a passenger, waiting to swap ends, but the car stayed at the same angle and witha touch of rediculously late opp lock, correcting it's line with no tank slapping or complaint.

I wuold say it's too easy to drive beyond it's (my) limits. A flattering car indeed.

Answer your question?

Am I missing something here?
The vid is just a few seconds of getting in the car.
