So the wife wants to drive my Griff.

In this world of equality that seems fair enough. Unfortunately, she cannot reach the pedals. Not that equal after all smile

Is there some sort of booster seat or padding that can safely push a driver forward?

I had a search through the forums but could not see anything relevant.

Many Thanks.

Is it easy to move the pedals forward?

Does it tell you how to do this in the griff bible?

A quick search on this forum will reveal that this has been covered many times before...

1. Raise drivers seat using spacers
2. Put pillow behind the little woman
3. Fit Leven pedal extenders
4. Platform boots
5. Tell her she's just too small and to get out of your car

Those are your options.

There is one more.
Trade her in for a taller version.

TVR used to make a bolster in matching leather. It had a zip and fitted over the seatback, making the driving position for shorter drivers a couple of inches further forward than it would otherwise be. It readily switched to the passenger seat too. I'm sure a specialist firm could easily make one. And yes the pedals are adjustable.

Yeah.

Looks like I'll be investing in a set of them.

Thanks for all the info.

Do NOT do this. If the pedal box on the Griff is the same as the one on the Chimaera you will find that the clutch and brake move forward and the gas pedal either less so or not at all. My wife insisted on the dealer moving the pedals forward and it has been impossible to heel and toe in the damn thing properly ever since.

She's not even that much of a shortarse. rolleyes

If I were you I'd simply be grateful. yes

Another benefit is she would not be able to give it full throttle hehe

You can adjust the throttle pedal separately if I recall correctly, its just a different adjuster where the cable meets the bulkhead I think (or something like that). Its in the Bible.

Don't really understand why you are asking the question. If your wife sees that it's possible you are well and truly f****d. And if you aren't the Griff soon will be. My advise is to pretend you dreamt all this, well call it a nightmare, and don't ever mention it again.

On the other hand you could simply adjust the pedals as has been suggested.

You could always say your insurance won't cover people with short legs if you really want an out.wink

Trouble is, if you adjust the pedals for the wife, they'll be too close for you and you'll be driving with your knees around your ears. There is less legroom on the passenger so it seems quite obvious that is the place for people with shorter legs. You could always get her one of those plastic steering wheels with a suction cup that she can stick on the passenger side dash and then pretend she's driving.
