As I have advised on another thread although I am unable to confirm a specific date for the open day at present I will try & keep you all informed on developments as they happen.

To this end we have the great honour of announcing that we now have had confirmation today that David Vizard will be flying in from the States especially to attend the open day bouncebounce

David is known worldwide for his technical expertise & will be holding technical seminars about his development work on engines etc throughout his career. There will also be question & answer sessions woohoo so get your thinking caps on now idea

To demonstrate our committment to the level of professionalism we aim to achieve we are in the final stages of negiotiations to secure David Vizard as our permanent technical advisor.

This is all part of our new & exciting business strategy.

Blimey very good effort, he has god like status in my eyes and those of most serious petrolheads. When David said DV was a mate I didn't think he meant it quiet like that hehe.
idea Right have to think of a reason for David to have to strip my lump again to see if he can add any more tweaks to already added rolleyes

Thinking about that last statement, I hope the cerbs not listening hehe

Wow! Prolific I'd say: amazon.co.uk. Note most of his books have a four or five star rating.

Blimey, this is a name from the past. I read his books when I was racing my mini, they were both very readable, informative and technically very logical. If I remember correctly he was noted for minis and cross-flow Ford engines, I didn't know he was still around. His knowledge and technical acumen were immense then, so must be beyond equal now.

Well done Austec, can't wait for the open day.

My local library surprisingly had a copy when I owned my mini in the early 90s. It was always out though. I think I got it once, and looked at all the things I could do if only I had some money.
