Find my Old Mini Reg VOT628H
Discussion
Hi Mini People,
I'm really interested to find out what happened to my old Mini Clubman. Last I saw of it was about 8-9yrs ago. The reg may not be exactly as I note above...it been some time. VOT....H are def correct though.
The man I sold it to bought it for his daughter, the gear box selector had recently given up meaning only 1st to 3rd was available, it was a met green 1970 Clubman GT (1330cc rebore).
I think the guy I sold it to was going to removed the engine and gear box and replace with a tamer 1000cc engine for his daughter. I sold it in Hartlepool (NE area)
I would really like to think it out there somewhere and someone has done a good job restoring it.
Here's a brief discription when I had it..
Met Green with Creamy met Roof.
Black interior (buckets) Mountney steering wheel and walnut dash.
wheels were minilights.
Had 3 extra spots mounted on front (to look like Italian Job...ha ha)
Had Black and Silver Number Plates front and back.
Would love to hear about it... I almost cried the day it left!
