Shall I or shant I ?

I have to go from the City straight to Cheltneham this evening to see my parents and my wife is already there. A question:-
Shall I go by train to Swindon and get picked up by my dad thus making it to his house in time to see my kids before bed time.
OR shall I go all the way back down south for an hour on the train, get a neighbour to pick me up at the local station and then drive for a couple of hrs to Cheltneham in THE CERBERA ?!?! BUT getting there for 9pm.

See the kids IMHO. At the end of the day, the Cerbie is only a car - love them as we do. Family always comes first IMHO.

Had the same choice today, come to work in the Focus, as it was going to p**s down with rain, but had withdrawal symptoms from driving the Tuscan...
