I'm looking for a good quality printer for printing photos, willing to go up to £100 for a good one. Problem is that there are so many I really don't know where to start looking! confused any help or comments appreciated. smile Rich...

I've always found Epson faultless for photo's, I don't know what the current models are but buy the best in their range for the money and you won't go wrong.

Epson Photo Printer - R360 should be about £100 now.

I'm still using an Epson R265 and am happy with the photos it prints. I believe it's available now for around £50. It can also print directly on to a CD/DVD if required.

Looks good, 6 colours and under £100 now. Any other recommendations or suggestions?

I've just been given a Canon ip4500 and I have to say the quality of the prints is fantastic, far better that I would have thought I would get. I think he said they cost about £75, it has 2 paper feeds so you can keep photo paper in the front cartridge and normal paper in the rear feeder and just select which one you want to use, it also prints onto cd/dvd via an adaptor

Epson or Canon. I'd avoid the other 'so-called' photo printers.

I have a couple of Epson's, very happy with them.

Don't know what has come out to replace the R360 but it was considered a winner.

Few previous threads on the matter.

But in saying this. They are a good few months old. My 2p would be to look what has replaced the R360.

If I remember rightly the Epson site allows you to get a free sample from your own uploaded picture from 3 different printers ... must be worth a look.

I've had 2 epson printers now and always found that they are a real pain with the heads blocking. So much so I've given up on my latest R800 because of this. In the future I'd probably go for a Cannon as the print heads are built into the cartridge so if the problem ever occurs you just change the cartridge and get a fresh set of print heads.

Epson R360 is on offer at www.epson.co.uk for £79.99. R285 is £59.99.

Also got offers on All-In-Ones.

Yeah, just adjust the input guide to the paper size.
