Not yet I do have a set of HKS springs and uprated discs/pads to go on.
I have heard that they are designed to be easy to get the back out because lots of guys use them for drifting in Japan. I have also heard that the JDM spec ones have 4WS and that they do not set up the 4 wheel alignment on the European spec ones - this may also explain the skittish handling. When the springs go on I will get the alignment checked out.

Ran my S3 on the rollers and got a figure of 149 BHP, which I think is average for an S. I was disappointed that they didn't have anyone on the Saturday to look at tuning after the run to improve things though.
What they did pick up is that my rev counter is drastically under reading at high revs. When my counter was showing 5000 rpm they reckone dit was actually 6200 - unless the gearing of the S is odd!!

Whilst I was watching another two cars reportedly had misreading rev guages. Is suspect that it was their machine that was misreading!

I put my S2000 on there and the results were not as I expected. Someone who works with rolling roads pointed out from the graph that they didn't take it over 7,300 rpm, where my max power is at 9,000. He said that road wasn't really geared up to be able to manage cars revving that high, but did show that the car looked like it was on the mark.
Only £40 and worth a quick bash...

Put the Chim 450 on the rolling road (first time for this car) initially gave a reading of 158bhp which I thought was way down, so they did another run and it topped out at 201bhp. Car runs fine - so I assume this is a reasonable figure, certainly it is useful as a reference for any future mods/tuning.

I would have thought that was still quite below what you would expect. Most 450s make above 220bhp and more like 240-250bhp unmodified, over 260bhp with Tornado chip, carbon trumpets, plenum etc....
I've just had a chim make 257 at john nobles widely respected rollers .. completely std .. reports at www.tvr.50megs.com

I agree, I was expecting around 240-250 so the first run surprised me. When the second run added another 43bhp approx I thought this is more like it, and had the weather been cooler I may have asked that they try again because it seemed to me that the guy doing the run up wasn't trying too hard. What with the hot weather I didn't want to risk the car overheating. I have since found a fair ammount of play in the throttle linkage and the car does seem qiucker now (probably psychological).

Jools - when I go to this site I get lots of windows popping up with Adult content , plus a request to download some kind of Adult content thingy. Not good. Esp. at work! Is this your 'other' business, or something your ISP puts up?
