Interesting design but the 'roll-cage' is pointless all it looks like it will do is get in the way of mid corner vision.

I know practicality isn't such an important issue with this kind of car, but how the hell do they expect people to get in with those struts in the way!

Some nice lines on the nose and bonnet, but needs alot more work before it would be anymore than a motor show concept.

To be honest, I'm really not keen on those hoops either. Well you did ask!

Has someone sat on the BMW scooter? And those hatchet blades at the front, are they for disposing of pedestrians?!

All down to personal tastes ofcourse but I prefer cleaner, sleeker/smoother lines for my car and not something that looks like it belongs in the kitchen utensil drawer.

As mentioned, it's an interesting "concept" design, but shouldn't be allowed to progress from there. Those beams look as though they would be too restrictive for access and visibility. They look like shopping bag handles!

In my opinion, designs number 1, 5&6 are the best, they are modern and capturing the classic feel of the original 7. The problem with number 1 I guess, will be the pillars which will not allow easy access to the cockpit. Number 5 is good, but reminds me with the 340R.
And for number 6, it has hints of the original 7, especially in the front and this is needed.
I think they have to look again at these 3 sketches, forget the others and I'm sure they'll come up with the right design.

Would be interesting if the 'hoops' could be used to support a retractable roof (possibly in perspex ?). Too cold and wet with no screen or roof this time of year.

How is this minimalist? Those flying buttresses may improve chassis rigidity, but they look stupid and they don't perform the secondary task of providing roll over protection. It looks like it's back to front. And it will obstruct vision, and how are you meant to get in?

Silly.

don't like the lines from what apears to be a rollcageand the backend seems a bit low to me.
