I'm considering selling the Tuscan, got her from new and it'll be a sad day to see her driven off however, I'm replacing her with a DB9, the misses is up the spout and now we are expecting our second child its time to get a 2+2. I'm not leaving the TVR fold, I'm going to concentracte my efforts on my Tuscan challenge car which I'm due to start racing this year - I do love my Tuscan but the DB9 is ticking the boxes at the moment.

What he said yes

You'll love the Aston with its superior build quality, comfortable cabin and ride, majesty and sleek looks.
Then one day a low slung and menacing coupe will appear very quickly in your rear view mirror. The throaty induction roar announces its rapidly imminent presence, and before you know it, you've been Cerbera'd, with flames spitting at the Aston as it passes. hehe

Then in the pit of your stomach, you'll know.... You made the wrong choice.

Congrats on the small fry btw biggrin

I'm thinking of buying 2 DB9's - one for Saturday and one for Sunday......

I should imagine his wife will do that anyway when she reads how delicately he described to the world the fact that she is pregnant.

A friend of mine has a DB9 and he loves it, then again he's never had a TVR.

If the TVR had 2 seats in the back it wouldnt be going anywhere.

As discussed on Friday, as soon as you start racing the Tuscan Challenge car the Tuscan road car will feel slow, loose and ponderous in comparison. If you are getting your automotive kicks oin the race track you don't need them on the road. The Aston sounds like an excellent choice

I'd imagine that with a kiddy seat, headroom in the back would be restrictive in a DB9. Best check it out before you splash the cash!

Ask Aston if they will fit an ISOFIX for you (If they dont already - which I doubt). It makes it much easier to fit the child seat properly. We did a survey at uni of cars at a fete and found that (I forget the exact numbers) about 80% of child seats were fitted wrongly, almost half of these to a point where it was dangerous.

I hate to admit it but i am considering selling my P&J and getting the new Maserati GT. had a look at it on Saturday and got a test drive next week. Very smart and ticks similar boxes (ISOFIX in the back etc.) but I'm not sure I could ever bring myself to do it. Watch this space!

Look the kids in the back thing was mainly to get the purchase of the DB9 past control, if the kids dont fit in the back, then we will have to use her car, at least I've considered them which will get me a few Brownie points.

Hell I'd have an Aston over a Tuscan any day of the week.........

Either car is stunning, but one is an Aston....
