Those wheels are dreadful. As for the video, trade plate in the window, I assume this isn't the previous owner, more likely someone taking a test drive.

Probably the worst wheels I've ever seen on a TVR!

I've seen smaller, better looking wheels on Boadicea's chariot.

Yep that's right for a Tuscan 'targa' roof but it's not a convertible.

The stills on the ad are taken in the same car park as the video, so looks like the seller treats it this way. What would also concern me is the 'dealer' operates from a mobile no.

Agree on the wheels comments .. vomit

Burnout was pathetic and laim..

Heck - if you are buying it for that price you are probably gonna rip the engine out and put a V8 in anyway..

I'm kinda hoping he's put new rears on it prior to selling...

He was a bit poor at the driving as well?!?! Still, it sounded nice....

But my word, those alloys....... How to ruin a nice car.

Yes they did.
Roof comes off, rear window comes out and they both store safely in the boot!
Fantastic car.

For that price, even if you need a ere-build your going to get a great car for a good price.
Wish I had a spare 10K but just bought the Misses a new SLK.

According to the YouBoob video it has 360bhp.... according to Autotrader it has 380....

Also listed "CAT D,WINDOWSCREEN CRACKED"

So it's been written off and some point, and if there's TLC neede, it's quite a lot of TLC! Barge and Pole methinks.

If I was after a Tuscan I'd be tempted by the one a few spaces below http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/329127.htm

Get some 18" Spiders, change the side and front lights to clear. Bargain!

If you have any change left over then you could get some CCC carbon cans evil

CAT D and cracked windscreen, I would be very concerned that the chassis is still twisted.

You should be more careful what you say. Who says that the chassis was ever damaged?

Having suffered a heavy crash where the body was severely damaged all round, smashed windscreen, front suspension shot, steering rack snapped and the nose/radiator ripped off; the chassis was completely untouched and it was written off as a Cat D. It is now being rebuilt for its new owner.

“Category D - most likely to be non-structural damage and should be relatively easily repairable. In this case the vehicle may have been economical to repair but for other reasons it was written off. For example where the insurer have to provide a courtesy car the time taken to repair the vehicle would mean that the courtesy car cost together with the repair cost would be excessive. In a category D scenario it is more likely that the insurer did not wish to repair.”
