People will buy hard to get desirable cars at any time of the year. I sold a Westfield with no roof or heater in the middle of January one year - the test drive took place in a hail/snow storm!

(a) Maybe, it depends what you get instead.
(b)No, it looks like a nice one and V6 spiders are rare beasts so I would expect it to sell at any time of year.

That's what I'm hoping! Just need to decide for sure that I am going to change and then work out what to ask for the Spider!

(a) Considering something Elise or VX220-shaped
(b) Thanks! Once I've decided for sure and come up with a price I hope so!

I have been toying with replacing the GTV with either of those but I am reluctant to give up the V6 for a 4 cyl and the GTV has poly-bushed rear suspension and bilstein shocks so it handles very well and is great fun.
I think I'll stick with it a bit longer, I do miss having a convertible though.

If I was to keep the Spider the shocks and bushes would be done within weeks! Having driven an S2 Elise on track and my bro-in-law's Exige on the road I still don't think it would end up as fun to drive as either of them (way to sell my car, eh?!). I really want to venture out on track in my own car as well, and I'm not sure I could put the Spider through that!

No a V6 spider/GTV will never be as much fun to drive, or as good on a track, but they do have other attractions.

The spider I was looking for 6 months ago still doesn't seem to have come on the market - lusso red, tan leather, post 98, ave mileage but looked after, under £7k. (twinnie! doing 70 miles a day on A and B roads, so can't afford V6 thirst) fortunately I found my second choice zoe yellow one within 2 months. If yours is particularly sought after, it will sell.....

Oh yes. Better try and sell before the weather gets good enough to take the roof down and go through my favourite tunnel!!

Well, I'm hoping that if someone wants it, they'll really want it. I fell in love with it at first sight and was going to have it, come hell or high water..!
