Same guy who sorted the brake light mentioned a Suzuki Swift engined mini where the original subframe, brakes etc is retained and all that is changed is the mounts and drive shafts. Anyone heard of this, reckons thats up to 110bhp available; not sure which model swift that would be either.

Someone dropped the Suzuki engine onto the Mini gearbox/transfer case using a couple of adaptor plates to line it all up. From memory it wasn't much bigger than the A-series so would probably fit under a standard front end.
