Morspeed are very good, but if you are thinking about SC your Mini then get intouch with Vmaxscart. They were the forst people to SC a mini A series with the Eaton unit, and are having great results.
I understand you can get 140bhp from a standard engine, but I would at least rebuild it with an X pin diff too.

Thanks but not a serious query,
Well only in as much as just how do you physically drop a lump ans SC into a mini,
Yes it would stick out front like a demented blower bentley, but what shape would its bonnet be, for example, those cams alone make it too tall
I was always under the impression the K head would fit under a normal bonnet, though looking at that a single skin GRP jobby might be needed.Well only in as much as just how do you physically drop a lump ans SC into a mini,

No way that SC would fit in though!

Looks like a nice lump. Can someone explain something for me though please.. Thats an 'A' Series block and what head? K series??
P,
It is a K series head, but possibly not the K series you are thinking of. It's from a BMW K1 bike engine. A fairly popular conversion as the bore centers are the same and many of the head studs and coolant passages line up quite well.P,

Those Cams fit under a standard profile bonnet and hence that is the beauty of the K1200RS BMW bike head conversion.A BMW Blower will fit a 5-port Mini under a standard bonnet profile also - both of these are serious ways to power sleeper Minis.

Thanks surprising,
I suppose it only begs the question,
Who on here has done such a thing,
Succesfully,
Also what else needs approriate adjustment,
Flywheel/brakes/suspension & trousers to cope with output.
Its becoming very common, have a look at www.minifinity.com I will have my engine ready soon, just a 1393 with SW5 and a 5 port head, should kick out about 150BHPI suppose it only begs the question,
