YOU!! go get a haines manual. figure out what you need to do. try and get all the simple things done yourself. and to be honest to give its a full service is very straight forward. do this first and anythink else you can tackle. A lot of things needed to be done to my mini but i had no money due to spending it all on mini bits and all my friends were to busy so i got stuck in and suprised myself. With lots of advise from this forum and a few phone calls to my friends who know thier cars, i gained a lot of basic knowledge and got the jobs done. Obviously if you need bodywork or paint work, setting up, heavy machanical work and things like that you will have to pay 4 but you can save a hell of all lot a money this way, it just depends on how much you want it and what you are prepared to do urself. good luck with ur project and post some pics. all the best..neale..I had mine done at Dereks Mini centre in Wilenhall west midlands, they advertise a wedding ar service in the back of some of the mini magazines using a stretch limo mini.
They were honest and brilliant and can work around any budget within reason.
