I have an S5 and just changed my phones. Does anyone the code you need to connect your phone up to an Audi bluetooth system. I can't remember it.
Or is their a specific code for each car/system.

Thanks

Tried the usual suspects?

0000 or 1234 etc?

Further Googling suggests 1234#

Are u sure u need a code? My a6 asks for a pin to pair with the phone, but that pin is entered into the car by you in the phone, setup menu. I have 2 paired with my car.

Yeah i need a code, only have to put it in once. I can't remember what the dealer told me it was, but it worked first time around

Try going into the phone menu, then press setup, there are then 3 options I think, one of them has a submenu that allows you to change the pin. From what I have seen of the A5 the system is the same as in my a6. Mine is set to 1234, but i entered that.

I've got a Blackberry Pearl. Last time i got into the car, turned it on. Went into bluetooth in the options menu, clicked on 'paired devices' then im asked to enter the Audi code, i did that and it hooked up and never had to enter it again !!!

Thanks

Erm, im not that good with these things. All i can tell you is that first time i got in the car, turned it on, i went into bluetooth on my phone and clicked 'add device', it then found the Audi system and i entered the code. Thats it.

Picked up my black A8 2005 3.0 Quattro last night. What a car ! So many toys its going to keep me amused for months. Getting it remapped tommorow !

I am trying to pair my Erricson 850i to the cars bluetooth, and have got to the bit where i enter 1234 on my phone and then the MMI says the 850i is trying to pair. At which point i enter the same code 1234 on the MMI and confirm.

The system then seems to pause for a while, and finally reports connection failed retry??. I have retried a couple of times but no joy.

Any clues guys (BTW, there is no sim in the car phone at the moments. I assuem this should not be an issue as i am only trying to pair my phone to the audi MMI system??)

Not sure if the sim makes any difference, I've never tried one without before.

Correct procedure to pair the phone if it doesn't work first time, is to turn on then off the ignition then ask the phone to search for devices or whatever the particular phase is. Should pick it up then. Code as stated above is 1234.

We are forever pairing peoples phones for them (for free) Isnt all this is the owners hand book???
