It is fantastic to drive, brilliant on UK (ie imperfect) roads.

You musht have me confushed wink Cant say I've been in the TVR forums much although they are in my faves!

Yeah, I'm a playboy. Just ask anyone who knows me hehe

Have you been at the drink wink I guess you mean the 3.0 Coupe (Z4)? If so, its superb and after 21k miles in 16 months it drives better than ever. Have driven E46 M3, and I like them a lot but I don't know how you'd choose between the two - they are quite different. How about this: If you dont need 4 seats get the Z4, and enjoy the lower running costs. If you occasionally need 4 seats then get the M3 and enjoy the slightly better performance. Tell you one thing: If the Z4 Coupe came with an LSD as standard it would be a better drivers car frown

the advice isn't for me but'll pass it on...4seats isn't an issue...yet... the sensible choice does seem to be the newer car, as you never now how much touble the older and possibly abused M3 will be. my only reservation is that if your going to buy one 'fast' car in your life you may as well go for broke? also, i dont want to wait too long at the french aires for him to catch up hehe

cheers for the comments, i'll pass them on

whats after the Z4?

Plenty miles in front of it yet - probably will keep it for a good three years then see whats around. Something similar though - cant really justify doing 20k per annum in 997's!
