Neither, in all probability.

I'm sure the 911 2.7 RS would get the vote from motoring journalists.

I personally quite like the 993 Turbo 4, but the 964 RSR (and 964 RS) tickle my ticklish bits even more.

Favourite porkers anyone?

For me its probably the GT2 or GT3. Probably the GT2 for its mad nutter b*****d performance and track ability.

Forget all these and dig in your history manuals
The best Porsche ever is the 718 RS

Oh come off it...

917K or, if you're so inclined, maybe a 917/30 or 962.
But the Kurzheck gets my vote. One day...

OK so what about the road going GT1, then?
There was one (the very last model with 996 light gear) where I bought my 944.
By the way there were also there:
-2 speedsters, (red and silver)
-a 993 RS (sand colour, as new)
-a flat-six engined beetle cabrio (the guy told me it was
worth 160 mph...)
-2 full racing spec diablos (one was parked outside under the rain...)
-a BMW 507 (white, immaculate condition)
-a 911 3.0 RS (being surgeoned by a mechanic)
-a fiat 355 spyder
-an F40
-a 924 carrera GT (as new with only 12k miles)
-an E-type lighhtweight (seemed to be a copy...)
-a diablo GT (yes, the ultra rare limited edition)

I don't think I will ever see again so many fine cars in a garage soon.
