No-one else find that seriooooooously impressive? I was told the 12 had trouble getting the power down.....no sign of wheel spin there! Booooooooom, and it was gone.

The guy didn't have trouble putting power down in this vid because i'm told he was only using between 1/3 and 1/2 of his throttle. Plus isn't it still running in 'mild' spec? I thought when the engine was originally set up by TVR, it sheared the input shaft of their 1000bhp engine dyno so its true potential was somewhere closer to the 1200bhp mark. Now that with full throttle would have been exciting! Although I suspect he would have ended up in the sea...!

The full power of the engine was between 940bhp and 1000bhp. If that's only half throttle, what is full throttle like? It looks to me like he'd have hit 60 easily in the low 3 second range there. But it's the way it shows no sign of stopping. Savage.

Honestly? No: it's a nice car, but that video didn't do the exhaust note any justice and all we see is a grainy long shot of a car driving away.

Aye, the exhaust note is infact the greatest ever as I have said before. It's wonderfully deep and thunderous.

CAn pretty-much guarantee there's no catalysers on that.

I used to drive my Mum's Fiat 126, the beauty of a 650cc twin is that the acceleration thing last so much longer. 0-60 in 30 seconds is no problem, 40 seconds if your gearchanges are bad. It's like sex - quick is not always good!
