Spotted in Surbiton earlier today: Range Rover with distinctive lettering on tailgate modified to read "H A N G O V E R".

Well, made me laugh

Neighbour of mine took the trouble to modify the badge on his Escort - which was a right minger but with the dogs engine etc - to read "scrote". That was pretty funny too!

It's also on the back of the "LADS" Escort Cosworth rally car competing on national events. The original badge has been machined to look as if it is original.

Used to be a Capri that drove round oxford with the badge altered to say 'Crapi'

Love the 'H A N G O V E R' though

Must add, has anyone else seen the tossers who change their escort badge to say 'Sorted' - was first done on a really nice Cossie featured in M** P****, now every muppet with a badly modified escort seems to do it...

But that was the factory's fault, not something the owners changed

I remember about 10 years ago one of the apprentices in my year changed his ROVER badge to "RAVER" using another letter "V" upside down, very apt at the time.Christ was it that long ago!

Personally I've always fancied a POLITE car. White with a sort of check decoration on the side...

A long time ago, in my rallying days, one of the marshals we used to see regularly on Welsh events had a Land Rover with the name 'Llan Drofa' emblazoned on the side.
