Personally I'm not interested in:

Her letters.
His letters.
The Duke's letters.
Their friends letters.
How much in love they were.
Diamond rings.
Conspiracies.
Lord Soames.
AlFayed.
Private Assistants.
etc..etc..etc..

It's just plain irritating and boring now!

its got to the stage where I turn the TV or radio off now the moment her name pops up and refuse to buy papers if she's plastered all over it.

I've got PH disease.

All I got from your post was "radio/plastered" and my brain obviously started channelling Vixpy or something.

Still, its comforting to know that should one of our nearest & dearest have an unfortunate RTA & lose their life, the State would quite happily spend in excess of £10 million investigating their deaths in order to leave no stone unturned.

Anyone else note the irony of Al Fayed constantly harping on that it was the "Establishment" who killed his beloved son & daughter-in-law to be, when it was one of his own employees driving the S Class whilst pissed that killed them both in the first place (oh & the fact that she wasnt wearing a seatbelt hardly helped either).

Media whore !!

Let's face it, if you're going to kill them, you don't put them in a big safe car and then get someone to nudge them with a little clio or similar.

You'd arrange a plane crash, that way, them having enough nous to put a seatbelt on wouldn't save them.

Tesco are selling a magazine for £3 filled with simpering reminiscence of her work and life and soul and tha'. Failing that, if you want more information/kindling, buy the Daily Diana Express and hear the real story of what really happened in that tunnel (I'll spoil it for you - high speed + drink = car crash).

It's been ten ing years and no let up. You didn't know her, so don't pretend you did. Let her die.

ETA: As someone sagely made the same point on my thread earlier, I shall add that I am also sick of this thread and find it ironic.

Did the owner of the Merc ever get it back? Seem to remember a thread about it a while back.

Any way sick to death of the anorexic media ho. She's dead. End of story.

About time Charlie got a chance at being king too.

It's almost worth having some kind of appropriately mad scientist resurrection table with bubbling test tubes, Jacobs ladders, we-belong-dead switches and all of that jazz, just so you can resurrect her and the papers can stop banging on about it.

Oh no, wait, they were banging on about her driving an Audi, or eating a lunch, or breathing in then breathing out while she was alive, too. Shit.

Surprised that Heather Mills hasn't died in a crash, think of the publicity!

I don't think it would. There's nothing like giving stupid people a pretend martyr as far as paper sales are concerned. If she were alive now then the public scrutiny at the time would have just been the latest craze. As it is, the craze has been able to last a decade.

I know what you mean, and i'm not in the UK to experience the full force of the media at the moment, but the stuff i've been reading is making Al Fayed look like a lot of a fool at the moment.

The letters do seem to indicate a warmth, and that any malice has been dreamed up by the Egpytian corner shop owner.

Hmmm :scatchchin:

As we'll never know, i'm going to remain stubborn and pretend i'm right (while inwardly accepting that i'm probably not).
