Which Race shock absorbers?

Gosh, you must have a mini with some serious suspension!
I'm running pre 64 hard cones (old stock) and there isn't really enough give in it to merit mucking about too much if you ask me. A stiffer compression is good and a quick rebound. I run mine very hard at the front and loosened off to the same ratio as the F/R weight distribution. I reckon it's as good as you can get. I'd waste the money on getting more out of your engine. Once you have the wheels located "right" it doesn't seem to make that much differnce in my opinion. I had the front shocks off and drove around and it didn't really make much odds. It prevents wheel hop a bit and that's about it. If I could control rebound, I would have it set at the loosest. After all, that is what you want unless you are aiming to drive on cobbles or something!
