New Ferrari!
Hold your horses! It's a new Ferrari!
This is the beauty that Ferrari will stun the world with in January. Attendees at the Detroit Auto Show will be the first to see the new 2+2 coupe in the flesh.
Adopting sexy curves rather than the Enzo like edginess, the new coupe leads on from the current 456. The 456 was a deceptively large car and we can expect this new beast to be in the same mould providing power with comfort.
The lengthy bonnet is likely to house the Ferrari V12 and those muscular haunches should be in keeping with the performance. A new Grand Tourer is born...

It was always going to be a tough act to follow, the 456...the encapsulation of utterly immense elegance.
I'm really quite looking forward to this product launch: hopefully it will maintain the bloodline and I find these sketches encouraging.
Let's just hope ol' Luca can resist trying to insert VW's ubiquitous V10 in the damn thing, though!

it's no less awkward than a 575, and regardles of what it looks like in print, it's bound to astound in the flesh, as a few of the above seem to think a 575 is a natural beauty. I happen to remember when everyone was wildly disappointed with the 550 when it was brand new. (Who knows, someday we all might tout the 7 series as the most gorgeous car in history and deny we all ever hated it.)I especially like the new 2+2's scooped sides. And remember, the bulbous profile shouldn't be compared to the 550/575 anyway, but to the 456, which I think is not only looking a decade old, but is far less curvy than the car in these drawings.
