Alfa GTV 3.0

Chaps,

I have a 2001 3.0 GTV that's developed a funny wiper problem. On the intermittent wipe, the blades sometimes stop several times on the up sweep (fine on the way down). Only intermittent, can be fine for a week and then refuse to work properly for days.

All okay on single and double speed.

Any thoughts?

That's quite a garage you've got there.

Wandered onto here as I'm deciding whether to get a TVR or play it safe with a GTV for my next purchase

I've had this issue on Fiats and Alfas I've owned. Its a commonplace issue and I think the two manufacturers share this part. I've replaced the wiper motor on all three occasions.
