Virginia Waters - August??
Discussion
The Sundays available for most seem to be 17th, 24th and 31th but that has the BoB on.
24th?
Edited to add: D'OH NOT 24th as the monday is a bank holiday = numpty's on the roads in greater numbers than usual.
31st seems to be the one at the moment...

Why don't the VW massive have a rumble over to Basingstoke to meet Don and then on to Pie on The Beach II change of scenery might be nice?

About 4 Bob, no 5!
3rd for me........Porsche National event at the end of August, and BTW, it's Virginia Water -no 's'.
Also, car park now £4.......
However, in a VW thread from yonks ago, I suggested a meet/picnic at the Runymede Pleasure Grounds (just down the road from VW and two mins from J13 of the M25) on the A308 between Staines and Old Windsor. Ticket parking and one can come and go as u please, + ice cream van, bouncy castle, takeaway etc......Space for over 300 cars.
Also boat trips available on the 'Lucy Fisher', fake stern wheeler made for the Tarzan film some years ago.

Whats the entrance like, ground clearance wise?
Looks good Graham, took the dog for a walk and paddle to cool off there yesterday!! Tarmac entrance and road to grass car park -looks smoother than my garden!!
I'll check the ticket prices next time I'm there.
There's also a paddling pool in the middle!!
It's about a ten minute walk down river to the Runymede Hotel if anybody wants a beer or meal.
