VW Passat TDI 130 remap

Hi guys. Just bought the above car & looking for anyone with good experiences with remapping this engine. Come across Superchips, Jabasport & Chipped UK. Anyone with views whose good? Is there any issue regarding mileage? Car has 70k on currently & I'm likely to do 35k+ per year. Looking for performance gains without reliability issues. What's a sensible power/torque gain with this in mind? Common numbers seems to be 163 bhp & 390nm.

ad my audi done by these http://www.sp-tuning.co.uk/, much more torque and spread over the rev range, plus a nice surge around 3500rpm, mine has around 170 bhp, think you can get more from 2 wheel drive cars. the compamy comes to your house/ work.

This is basically a plug in type system rather than a remap.
Easily removed for servicing
i do 40k pa fuel not affected either.

chipped uk have a special offer on for a remap and rolling road day over on the vw audi forums on april 12th,ive got my 1.8 t booked in,they sound like a good firm with very good feedback

we've got a pd130 Bora in the family. We've heard figures of 185bhp and 285 lbs/ft of tourque with a remap. Cant tell you the company sorry, dont know of it. Just thought you might like the figures!

Ive been reading that topic and ive posted on there too, im D_I_A_B_L_O on there too, I might pop along and have a look. All the feedback ive seen is good too. Id be happy with 180bhp and 290 lb-ft in my barge !!

The figures you quoted gj88 seem to be what most people go for, how has the bora been after the remap ??
