Obtaining Serive History Detail

Hi all,

Now that TVR are up in smoke and the servicing dealer no longer exists, is there anyway I can get the service history of the car? I'm particulary interested in service details rather than an indication of if the service took place.

I,ve had this problem.

I've contacted all the dealers in the service book to find out what was done.
Most of the dealers / stamps are now not in business any more. Some have the same name now but have moved premises, and yes you guessed it! didn't bother to keep the old paperwork cos they were not interested in what the previous owners of the company had done (and these are some of the top TVR companies)

unfortunately this is going to become more common as various specialists go down tha plug!

So in the end we will have to rely on condition, condition, condition.

Is all the history worth much if its all stamped up with all details, but its falling apart. No, is the simple answer. Mine had a £200 waxoil bill and chassis check at the start of this year, but yes, outriggers were nearly all knackered. But, My bill for this work is worth more than all the past stamps for the service history!!

Condition, condition, and a check by a good specialist is worth it weight in gold??
