Had a great day with the 'Sporting Bears Motorclub' at Gurston Down Hillclimb course.
In my life I have done many forms of motorsport but never a Hillclimb, we had three of the fastest men in the UK as instructors and they all thought the Viper was the mutts nuts with loads of power and ample brakes it made a very large but not very nimble competitor.
If none of you have tried it before then you should, you just need a helmet and loads of bottle.
The bottle is because on most of the track you cannot read the bends as they are above you and hiden by the grass.
If it was possible to arrange either a Corvette/Viper or Ferrari/Viper day how many takers?
Cost would be about £120.00 to include instruction, lunch and about 8 runs, each run being about 30 seconds, sounds easy but god my shoulders ache this morning from the hairpin!!!!
See you all Saturday
