Sorry ! M400 tyres

Didn't want to hijack "Airsupport"s thread on 3R tyres so started another. MyM400 has a slight vibration from the back of the car(through the seat rather than the steering wheel) that appears for a 20mph segment from 65mph to ?5 and then dissapears. Think it might be a flatspotted rear tyre ,as: A car sat around for a while before I bought it and, B: it had done a couple of track days so either could have caused it.
Done a search on here for replacements for the Corsas. The factory have said Rosso's ( which I thought were more for the 3R), a dealer has suggested the Yokos ( maybe AO48?), and during the thread search Toyo 888s came up a couple of times. I use the car everyday, will be solely road use ( I think!),hence wet grip more important than ultimate grip, so what would those more knowledgeable than me ( which is probably all of you!)suggest?
And yes I promise I'll change all 4!

Kerridges asked me how my 3R performed on the A048's the other day as the Corsa's are getting more difficult to source.
The dry grip is obviously excellent
and there are no cornering issues with the tyre rolling onto the shoulder even with standard geometry and pressures.
On damp roads they are ok and still predictable but I doubt we can drive long enough at speed to ever get them warm.On a damp track they are good once warm though !
On very wet roads and through standing water just hold on and hope it comes out the other side pointing in the right direction !

Andy - I've just brought a new set of Corsa's, but at over a grand a set now you have to question benefit:cost. As I do a lot of track days - I personnaly would be uncomfortable with anything else, but it is worth exploring alternatives depending upon use.
A048s are obviously not what you want; some folk on here have gone the Toyo R888 route, but a good mate of mine in the trade just mutters 'pikey tyres' whenever I mention them, which leaves the Rosso's. If the factory recommend them (for the M400??), you're probably not going too go far wrong, especially as you will be using for everyday driving and not on track.
BTW I was told that manufacturing of Corsa's will be back up to volume in Mar 08 - but then again we've heard all sorts of things about these tyres..

I can vouch for the PZero Rosso N4's being pretty great on wet and dry road and track. Very good all round tyre IMO. I'm puzzled as to why autocar gave them a bashing in their latest tyre test though.

Tyre performance can be very much car-dependent, so I take those reviews with a barrel of salt. SO3s on my original Noble 3R were brilliant - yet they were utter pants on my Elise (the SO2s equally were brilliant on the Elise).G
If the Rosso's work on your car, then that's all you need to know.
