Sod buying presents, thats stumped me. So Im buying myself an SLR camera.

I have just sold my Fuji S9600 for £200 so I have that to put towards one plus a maximum of £300. So £500 all together.

I have set my heart on a Pentax K10d. Lots of features plus compatible with past pentax and most sigma lenses, making it quite a bit cheaper to buy second hand lenses.

I have been searching the net comparing prices and the best I have found as follows.

Digital Camera Exchange

You Get: Pentax K10d, 18 – 55mm lens, battery grip

Price £579.99

Bit too much for me at the moment (I still have to buy a few presents!)

Robert White (never heard of him before!)

You Get: K10D + 18-55 kit
includes DA 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens

£408.00

I want as much to come with it as possible really, more specifically a battery grip.

If anyone can assist me to find a better deal, I will give them a pat on the back biggrin

Jim.

Robert White are primarily a Pro supplier, so their prices are Ex VAT. They sell kit to a lot of famous names, and a few of us on here too.

My $0.02 - if you're on a budget, you'll be able to pick up other stuff in the future (e.g. battery grip, lenses, flashes) a lot cheaper second hand if you go Canon or Nikon.
