Anyone know the turning circle of a Dennis Fire Engine?

Do you mean the Sabre or the Dagger??

The Dagger is 12.3m between kerbs or 14.1 swept circle.

If I remember correctly the Sabre has a turning circle of about 55 feet but as they say don't quote me

Not nosey at all. New barn conversion, must provide enough space for a fire appliance to turn round. Need to work out how much space to give him and where. Interesting the planners and architect say "its got to be here or there" but digging into the regulations actually it doesn't state anywhere that the fire engine has to be able to turn round. So I'm doing my research prior to furtehr discussions.

The building regs do state the vehicle must be able to turn if it is further than a certain distance from the road. 45m springs to mind but don't quote me. A hammerhead is the usual solution. I would suggest you have a chat with the local Fire Authority and failing that research the Access part of the building regs B5.
