Same here. I didn't like the way you couldn't change the controls in the demo. I prefer x for accelerate than r2...

I got the less flashy PS2 version...your right in regard to the inability to configure your own buttons...only 2 preset options..however the throttle still can selected to be the right analogue stick...it was the gears being R1,R2 that bugged me slightly but you soon get used to it...not had a go with the manual clutch (L2) in the launches yet either....

Maybe it was designed for the PS3s controllers having 'trigger-like' R2/L2 buttons?

I was using it on a PS3 biggrin It just felt clumsy having to use those trigger buttons, as I found it unsettled my grip on the controller as a whole. I couldn't find a way to change the configuration.

Aside from the control config, is the game any good?

The demo was a bit too limited to say really. Just a pretty straight blast in an m3. Graphics were nice on ps3, and it sounded good too. I'm probably going to buy the full game as i've got some vouchers that need using up!

I bought it anyway as I had some vouchers I won at work which needed spending biggrin I'm glad I did buy it now, as I'm enjoying the layout of the game with the battle events. I'm sort of getting the hang of using the triggers, although I still think it is inexcusable not being able to set the button configuration to how you want it!

One question though... does it work cross platform online for play as well as sharing blueprints??

I guess if you insist on having a copy it's best to get it as cheap as possible, so for today only you can get it for £29.99 on PS3 and 360 here:

A quick gallery round up from around the net...none of which are quite as good as my lovingly crafted collection of muscle cars, but nice all the same......biggrin
