such thing as a good warranty?

If all goes well i will be picking up a 4.5 cerbera on monday, it comes with 3months warranty,

I know the Cerbera has a reputation for being a money pit (i have put £3000 away for repairs etc) but is there any way to make it a bit less of a scary car to own?!
Are there any warrantys out there that are worth the paper they are written on?
