BT - is there an alternative?

We've moved our London office two doors along and booked the replacement of the ADSL line two months before we moved.
To cut a very long and very painful story short - we have today been told that we will not have internet or ADSL for another 3 weeks (and we don't hold up much hope for that!)
BT are complete S@%te! - they're costing us money and they don't give a monkey's!
No one takes ownership of anyything and things are done that way "because that's how it is"!!!
Can anyone recommend an alternative supplier?

Easynet are doing LLU stuff in london currently - ph member Joust works for them.
You should be able to get an ADSL line installed in 6 days without any major hassles via any ISP (I'd reccomend Nildram - Also a member on here with the username nildram) or is it the actual analog line thats missing?
You can normally shout loudly at a manager at BT and get an engineer next day if you've got a serious problem.

Steviebee - If your still having problems, and are serious about changing, I have contacts who can help. They offer the FULL package. Mail me. I try to avoid the big sell, honest!

My company ( www.this-tel.com ) provide broadband via satellite. Our normal clients are people in rather remote places but we do have clients in major cities in the UK because they are upset with the traditional broadband suppliers.
It is more expensive though, you can expect to pay 2500 GBP install and equipment then around 120 pounds per month.
For some businesses this is economical.
