I took mine out and it's rough.Got more solder on it than metal.I'm sending it out to have it Cleaned,Boiled,Chemicaly treated whatever they do to them.I fear that may cost more than to have it replaced with a fuel cell or a fuel tank from a donor car.Would appreciate your suggestions Eddie Zak

Hi Eddie - how are you mate - Adrian Venn at http://www.exactly-tvr.demon.co.uk/m_parts.html does new fuel tanks but I am not sure how cost effective this would be with the shipping to the states.

Hi Harry,Sorry it took me so long to reply, been Crazy Busy...I have a guy here in Jersey that cleans and boils etc.,but I was looking around and my friends on the TVR site here in the USA gave me some info..
I found this interesting :

the part number is RCI 21G1A
It costs $150 plus to clean the old one compared to Brand New for about $230 ALMOST the same size...
Thanks for the reply Harry Eddie Zak

HI new to the TVR world just got a 2500M and doing a resto on it. My tanks is the same way,I did find a print on the tank and ho made them on the NATVRC web page or was it the The TVR in the new world?. any way I'm going to make one for my car and make it an inch taller and flat on top to get a bit more fuel in it. The print is good so you could just take it to a fab shoop and have them make one for you I would put 2 baffals in it. Also if you want a used one and you are in the U.S. Rogger moore has one at his online store I think. If you can't find the print I can fax it to you if you would like. TO day is -35 it has to be warmer some were?
