Anti roll (sway) bars
Discussion
Hi,
I know a few of you have fittet anti roll bars and the car that I got my factory demo in had ARB's.
What's your experience with them and how did you (or who) make yours? Pictures would be very interesting especially on how the are mounted to the chassi. I know I have the ones on the factory demonstrator on video somewhere but I can't find the tape
I don't want to roll so much in 2008...

A thought: I changed the anti-roll bars on my R5 Turbo when I moved it up to Maxi 5 spec. The bars are hollow aluminum with mounts arms and verticle links all provided by Speedway Engineering in Sylmar Ca. They can quote you the rigidity of the bar, but don't let the hollow part fool you, the majority of the resistance to twist that we are after comes from the outside surface of the bar. lee

Not needed IMO.
One of the functions I like with the bars is that it's so easy to just tighten one of them to change the balance of the car. Makes the concept much more easy to setup for one track or another. If it starts to rain for example... how do you do without bars? Change springs and then a new four wheel ilignment?Gassing Station | Ultima | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
