Have had the joy of someone writing "clean me quick" on the back of the S over the weekend and as I expected after a clean it's still showing up frown

What's the best way to get rid of the impressions that are left? I'd imagine T-Cut is too extreme, I've got Autoglym's scatch remover - or do I need to apply polish a few times over the complete area of the markings?

Rob,

Washing the car? Are you feeling alright?

Are you at home now?

Might have something to sort it out and I'll be up your way in a little while.

They'll probably come out with a good polish and a lot of elbow grease... If they are still there after try a lite T-cut, but since T-cut is more abrasive go easy. Do a quick application of T-cut and then polish up, if the marks are still there repeat.

Have to agree this stuff will remove most marks without taking any paint off. will even remove tar spots with some elbow grease.

Hmm, more a matter of smoothing the surface down than removing something from it I think...

Will have a go with Autoglym tomorrow...

Think's we'll give that a go on yours first, kind of like a group hug or something!

Looks Ok now, have used Autoglym Paint Renovator (fine version of T-Cut) and that seems to have sorted it, water still beads around it though, so a few more goes likely needed, but at least I won't look like a numpty for BTaP (well not for that at least anyway!).

Thanks all thumbup
